About the Role

Hexcel, a global leader in advanced composites technology, is seeking a Material Planner for our Casablanca, Morocco manufacturing facility. You will play a critical role in optimizing our supply chain operations, managing raw materials, and ensuring seamless production scheduling.

Main Responsibilities

  • Receive, analyze, and confirm customer sales orders with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Manage raw material procurement and inventory to ensure optimal quantities arrive at the right time
  • Prepare and raise purchase orders, order schedules, and production schedules (yearly, monthly, weekly)
  • Monitor inventory levels, track aged inventory, and develop yearly inventory plans
  • Conduct supplier research, evaluate performance, and ensure contract compliance
  • Manage MRP data and parameters to optimize supply chain output and identify risks or opportunities
  • Collaborate with Supply Chain Management on new project introductions and process improvements

Required Qualifications

  • Engineering degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, or related field
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office and computer systems
  • Experience with ERP systems (Microsoft AX preferred)
  • Strong critical thinking and negotiation skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
