About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead and coordinate all activities in our Plant Operational areas. You will develop and implement manufacturing processes to maintain product functionality and cost efficiency while working as a key team member to achieve plant targets based on agreed KPIs aligned with regional standards and policies.

Main Responsibilities

Lead and develop direct reports (Business Line management members) as part of the plant management team, with responsibility for overall plant performance
Manage SRS, Molding, and HV Production activities in compliance with internal procedures, legal regulations, and statutory obligations to meet Total Customer Satisfaction, Best in Class Quality, and Manufacturing Excellence objectives
Allocate resources across Production, Maintenance Engineering, Program Management, and support functions (HR, Finance, Quality, EHS, MPC, SCM) to balance short and long-term goals
Define and implement Lean strategy for the site, ensuring lean tools and standards are used in daily activities and setting adequate operating plans for future developments
Monitor monthly KPIs and define measures to improve performance in quality, on-time delivery, safety, manufacturing costs, and people management aligned with Aptiv SPQVC targets
Prepare annual budgets, achieve budgeted turnover and operating income, and oversee departmental activities to improve processes and profitability

Key Requirements

Degree in Engineering or Economics; MBA preferred
Fluent in English
5-10 years of management experience with broad business process overview
Preferably automotive industry experience in a multinational environment
Strong leadership and communication skills with ability to coach and mentor
Knowledge of Lean methodologies and manufacturing processes
Experience with KPI monitoring and process improvement

Additional Responsibilities

Apply environmental, health, and safety policies within your area of responsibility
Represent the plant and company values in relationships with major customers, suppliers, and partners
Authority to stop shipment and production in case of serious quality problems, with immediate notification to leadership
Manage process ownership including inputs/outputs control and performance evaluation
Monitor manufacturing process compliance with customer requirements and implement corrective/preventive actions
Serve as Product Safety and Conformity Representative Deputy, ensuring proper customer notifications and information sharing
