The Role

Join our engineering team in Casablanca as a Senior Data Engineer. You will work in feature teams on diverse projects ranging from cloud infrastructure migration to predictive modelling, advising clients on AI, machine learning, and Big Data challenges.

Your Responsibilities

  • Innovate by identifying client needs and defining innovative data solutions in collaboration with consultants, data scientists, and engineers
  • Build end-to-end solutions from conception to implementation, managing performance and scalability optimisation
  • Train and coach team members, stay current with industry updates, and participate in training sessions with partners like Google and Amazon
  • Communicate knowledge and learnings at events and conferences, presenting technical solutions to diverse audiences
  • Manage the full data value chain including infrastructure creation, data collection, ML model deployment, and CI/CD pipelines
  • Anticipate and mitigate project risks from the design phase onwards

Required Profile

  • Software engineering background with DevOps/DevSecOps experience
  • Strong Python proficiency and deep SQL database knowledge (PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQLServer)
  • Experience with cloud technologies (GCP, AWS) and big data frameworks (Spark, Beam, Airflow, Docker)
  • Proficiency with command-line Unix and containerisation technologies
  • Ability to deploy ML models and create REST APIs with test-driven development practices
  • Team management and mentoring capabilities with ability to coach junior engineers
  • Strong communication skills and fluent English
