Main Responsibilities

  • Qualify the feasibility of use cases by translating business challenges into technical formulations
  • Define business and statistical hypotheses, build solutions, and conduct testing and validation
  • Develop production-ready solutions for validated use cases
  • Propose adequate AI or machine learning options to address business needs and act as an expert on algorithm selection
  • Design, build, maintain, and troubleshoot data models integrated into delivered solutions
  • Develop data visualisation features to generate insights and support data storytelling

Key Responsibilities in Detail

  • Assess data quality; clean and aggregate when necessary
  • Compare and choose the right algorithms based on statistical hypothesis definition
  • Develop and train machine learning models
  • Follow MLOps principles when moving models to production
  • Troubleshoot models in production environments

Minimum Requirements

  • At least 3 years of prior Data Science experience
  • Very proficient in Python
  • Master's degree in Applied Mathematics, Advanced Statistics, Data Science, or related discipline
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong knowledge of data science algorithms with proven experience developing statistical and ML algorithms
  • Fluent in English (ideally)

Preferred Requirements

  • Experience in consulting
  • Experience with cloud technologies
  • Good knowledge of Spark
  • Good knowledge of MLOps principles
