About the Role
We are seeking an experienced, confident, and guest-focused Waitress to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. As a Waitress, you will deliver an outstanding dining experience while leading a designated service section. You will ensure every guest receives attentive, knowledgeable, and personalised service from arrival to departure, acting as the key link between guests, kitchen, bar, and front-of-house teams.
This is a seasonal 6-month contract with all expenses covered: visa, flights, basic salary, accommodation, and transport provided by the company.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional, personalised table service in accordance with restaurant standards and lead your designated dining section.
- Welcome guests warmly, present menus confidently, explain dishes and daily specials, and provide expert recommendations based on preferences and dietary requirements.
- Accurately take orders, enter them into the POS system, and coordinate with kitchen and bar teams to ensure timely and accurate service.
- Proactively upsell premium items, beverages, and desserts to enhance guest experience and maximise revenue.
- Monitor guest satisfaction, anticipate needs, resolve concerns professionally, and escalate issues to management when appropriate.
- Lead and mentor junior waiters and food runners, ensuring consistent service standards and compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations.
Required Experience & Skills
- 1–3 years' experience as a Waitress or Senior Waitress in a premium restaurant, luxury hotel, or fine-dining establishment.
- Fluent in English with excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Outgoing, confident, and charismatic personality with genuine passion for hospitality.
- Strong food and beverage knowledge, including menu pairings, allergens, and dietary requirements.
- Experience with restaurant POS systems and ability to upsell effectively.
- Impeccable personal presentation and professional demeanour in a fast-paced environment.
