AFR Customer & Operations Specialist
DHL Global Forwarding, the Group's air, ocean and road freight specialist, has an opening for an AFR Customer & Ops Specialist in Tangier, Morocco. In this on-site, full-time role, you will provide day-to-day administrative support and readily available advice for AFR Ops/CS processes, helping deliver the flow of goods and information across the customer's global supply chain using air transportation.
Key responsibilities
- Support the delivery of air freight forwarding processes and activities for internal and external customers, under direct or close supervision.
- Create or confirm transport orders, perform bookings, and optimize booking.
- Prepare, review, and distribute import and export documentation and support shipment documentation for freight forwarding activities.
- Perform routine tasks such as research, data processing, data validation, documentation, and recording shipping tender information.
- Support freight rate determination, tariff queries, and customer visits, and gather input for the Freight Control Center.
- Collate data and prepare reports on account performance, resolve customer issues and incidents, and update customs shipment records in a timely manner.
Qualifications & experience
- Education: vocational, specialized, technical or certification level.
- Experience: less than 2 years.
- Skills: routing, shipping, carrier management, third-party logistics, customs brokerage and regulations, certificate of origin, tracking, CRM, Microsoft Excel, and stakeholder management.
