About the Role

We are seeking professional Arabic-English Over-the-Phone Interpreters (OPI) and Video Remote Interpreters (VRI) to join Future Group Translation and Localization Services. You will provide accurate communication between non-English and English speakers during remote calls, primarily in the healthcare and medical sectors.

Your Responsibilities

  • Answer calls professionally, adhering to the Interpreter's code of conduct
  • Render all messages accurately and completely without adding, omitting, or substituting information
  • Maintain awareness of medical and healthcare terminology specific to the industry
  • Facilitate clear communication between Limited English Proficient clients and service providers
  • Participate in internal professional training and pursue new certifications
  • Comply with dress code and technical requirements for video remote interpreting

Your Background and Experience

  • Native fluency in Arabic and fluent English proficiency
  • Minimum 1+ years of over-the-phone interpretation experience in a professional company
  • Good knowledge of medical terminology
  • High school diploma in your native language
  • High emotional intelligence and cultural tolerance
  • Excellent communication, listening, note-taking, and memory retention skills

Plus factors: Legal terminology awareness and international healthcare certifications (PICSI, ALTA, HIPAA, etc.)

Technical Requirements

Internet: Dedicated high-speed, private, secured connection with minimum 10 Mbps download and 5 Mbps upload speeds. Wired Ethernet connection required (Wi-Fi not allowed).

Systems: Windows 10 or higher, dual-core 2 GHz processor (Intel Core i5 or superior), 8 GB RAM minimum.

Equipment: Noise-cancelling wired headset with built-in microphone, external Full HD camera, ring light, and gray backdrop for video calls.
