Area Sales Director - Branch Banking

About the Role

Join East West Banking Corporation as an Area Sales Director to lead and manage sales initiatives within a defined market segment, area, or region. You will develop and execute strategic sales plans, track performance metrics, and drive client acquisition to expand the bank's customer base.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve targets, identify new business opportunities, and analyze market trends
• Lead and manage a high-performing sales team, ensuring daily activities are executed properly and targets are met
• Build and maintain strong client relationships while providing support, guidance, and training to the sales team
• Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide feedback, and monitor sales performance across the region
• Prepare and present sales reports to senior management, driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency
• Coach, mentor, and train sales team members, including hiring and training new personnel

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the banking industry, ideally in Branch Banking with a strong track record as a Branch Manager or comparable sales leadership role
• Strong track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth
• In-depth knowledge of sales strategies, techniques, and best practices with ability to adapt to different markets and customer segments
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with managers and supervisors
