Position Summary

As a Bartender at JW Marriott Taghazout Bay Resort, you will prepare and serve drinks according to specified recipes, manage bar operations, and deliver exceptional guest service in a luxury hospitality environment.

Main Responsibilities

  • Prepare drink orders for guests using measuring systems and specified recipes; issue, open, and serve wine and champagne bottles
  • Set up, maintain cleanliness, and organize the bar, bar unit, tables, and tools; prepare fresh garnishes for drinks
  • Stock ice, glassware, and paper supplies; transport supplies to bar set-up area and wash soiled glassware
  • Process all payment methods, count bank at end of shift, complete cashier reports, resolve discrepancies, and secure receipts and bank
  • Secure liquors, beers, wines, coolers, cabinets, and storage areas; complete closing duties
  • Welcome and acknowledge guests according to company standards; anticipate and address service needs with genuine appreciation

Key Requirements

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
  • At least 1 year of related bartending or hospitality work experience
  • Ability to stand, walk, and work for extended periods; lift and carry objects up to 50 pounds
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Knowledge of safety, security, and company policies; willingness to complete safety training and certifications
