Vendor Management Senior Manager – BCG X

About the Role

As Vendor Management Senior Manager at BCG X, you will orchestrate and elevate contingent workforce operations globally. Reporting directly to the Global Head of Vendor Management, you serve as the senior point of contact for internal firm leaders, external partners, and regional vendor management specialists.

Main Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end vendor lifecycle: market research, partner identification, legal and commercial negotiations, contract formalization, contractor onboarding, quality assurance, and financial settlement
• Guide and mentor a team of Vendor Management Specialists across the globe, driving accountability, professional growth, and operational excellence
• Act as a trusted strategic advisor to senior stakeholders within BCG and external vendors, ensuring compliant, efficient, and scalable contingent workforce operations
• Drive integration of AI and Agentic AI tools into vendor management processes to position BCG X at the forefront of intelligent workforce management
• Manage complex, multi-stakeholder processes with competing priorities and tight deadlines across distributed teams in different time zones

What You'll Bring

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Law, Operations, or related field
• 8+ years of progressive experience in procurement, vendor management, or contingent workforce operations, ideally in professional services or technology
• Deep expertise in procurement or contingent workforce management with proven ability to negotiate, contract, and manage vendor relationships end-to-end
• Demonstrated experience leading and developing high-performing, distributed, cross-functional teams
• Hands-on experience with Agentic AI tools or genuine interest in applying AI to operational workflows
• Fluency in English (mandatory); Portuguese, Japanese, or Mandarin are strong advantages
• Experience with professional Vendor Management Systems (e.g., SAP Fieldglass) and strong MS Office proficiency
• Self-sufficient and resilient with ability to manage without close supervision

Work Environment

Locations: Lisbon or Casablanca. Willingness to work in-office at least 3 days per week required.
