About the Role

As a Strategic Studies and Innovation Manager in Transmission Infrastructure, you will drive technological innovation and strategic planning for next-generation network architectures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct technological and strategic watch on transmission networks (WDM, satellite, terrestrial and submarine systems, optical fibers) and emerging domains like AI and IP/Optical convergence
  • Identify disruptive trends and assess their business and operational relevance; conduct opportunity, feasibility, and techno-economic studies on new architectures
  • Design, model, and compare multiple target transmission network architectures and evolution pathways; develop engineering references and technical standards
  • Lead innovation programs and manage anticipation and development projects from design to deployment, setting objectives, deadlines, and resources
  • Participate in internal valorization (conferences, strategic notes) and external dissemination (white papers, trade shows); communicate innovation strategy and study results
  • Organize training and awareness sessions to strengthen internal innovation culture and work closely with marketing, technical, commercial, and operational teams

About You

  • 10+ years of experience as a strategic studies and innovation manager in transmission infrastructure or engineering within the same technical field
  • Expertise in network architectures, especially WDM, terrestrial and submarine transmission systems, IP and Optical convergence, and fibers
  • Strong ability to conduct strategic and techno-economic studies with proven project leadership in complex environments
  • Excellent analytical, synthesis, and communication skills with an innovative mindset and technological curiosity
  • Passion, energy, adaptability, and a desire to expand knowledge and develop new skills
