Role Overview

As Quality Manufacturing Leader, you will oversee critical quality processes in automotive manufacturing, ensuring compliance with customer requirements and continuous improvement of production quality. You will lead cross-functional teams, manage containment actions, and drive problem-solving initiatives to minimize defects and scrap.

Main Responsibilities

Define, document, and verify containment or sorting actions for process-related issues; manage outcomes, reporting, and cost tracking through quality notifications
Oversee 8D and problem-solving processes for manufacturing quality issues; monitor deadlines, escalate delays, and support team documentation
Evaluate and improve process capabilities using quality tools (CMK, PPK); escalate when targets are not achieved
Approve and verify all rework activities; ensure effective rework completion and material tracking
Monitor production scrap levels and trends; participate in root cause analysis and implement minimization strategies
Analyze process defects using Pareto analysis; identify trends and escalate performance issues that could lead to warranty defects

Key Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent technical field
Minimum 3 years of quality experience in the automotive industry
Strong knowledge of Quality Core Tools: 8D, 5 Why, Ishikawa, FMEA, Control Plan, SPC, MSA
Demonstrated leadership and team coordination skills with ability to coach and develop team members
