Fluent German is required for this role. Our customers are property management companies in Germany. We are looking for Senior Developers for our fully remote team to work on our agents. You will be responsible for how well our agents work for customers: you talk to the property managers who use them, see where they go wrong and make them better.

Hausverwalter.ai is an all-in-one platform for property management companies, with features such as an Inbox, CRM, Documents, Telephony, Video Calls, Team Chat and AI Agents. The goal is to automate as much of a property manager's daily work as possible.
About the Role
The platform has been agentic since day one. Almost everything users can do in the UI has an agent tool, and the Co-Pilot, the daily assistant for users, can carry out these tasks for them. The real challenge is building autonomous agents.
What You Will Work On
- Inbox Agents: autonomous agents triggered by new events in a ticket. You decide when to escalate to a human and how to keep agents on process.
- Harness Engineering: the agent has 100+ tools. You shape how it reads requests the way a property manager would, and what goes into prompts versus skills.
- Knowledge Base: a custom-built, Notion-like company brain. You explore whether the AI should learn on its own and how it searches the knowledge base.
- Voice Agents: the same agents on the phone, built on LiveKit, handling calls the way text agents handle tickets.
- LLM Infrastructure: model selection, caching and streaming, retries, context compaction, RAG optimization, cost tracking and evals.
Tech Stack
Everything is TypeScript, from the database schema to the frontend.
- Backend: Convex (database and serverless functions)
- Frontend: Next.js, React, Tailwind, shadcn/ui
- Technologies you will encounter: Vercel AI SDK, Convex Agent Component
The specific stack is less important to the company, since AI will be writing 100% of the code.

You Are
- Fluent in German and English
- A seasoned developer with more than 2 years of experience building production agents
- AI-native in production: you have shipped agentic features real users rely on and have opinions on retrieval, evals, tool design and model limits
- A builder first: you would rather ship a rough v1 today than spend weeks planning the perfect one
- Up to date with new AI models and research
- Writing almost all of your code with AI
- Used to working independently and taking full responsibility for your area, also after it goes live
