Fluent German is required for this role. Our customers are property management companies in Germany. We are looking for Junior and Senior Developers for our fully remote team to take responsibility for a part of the product: talking to the property managers who use it, deciding what to build next and making sure it works for them.
About Us
Hausverwalter.ai is an all-in-one platform for property management companies, with features such as an Inbox, CRM, Documents, Telephony, Video Calls, Team Chat and AI Agents. The goal is to automate as much of a property manager's daily work as possible.
What You'll Do
You'll build with Claude and work on your own area of the product. Which area depends on where you fit best. The work is roughly split as follows:
- Product (Full-Stack): Work on the software property managers use all day. Talk to them about where they lose time, decide what to improve, own new features and refine them until they are as easy to use as the Uber app.
- Integrations (Backend): Handle every way data enters the platform, including email, phone calls (Twilio and Vonage) and WhatsApp. Work directly with customers on moving them off their previous tools, importing years of email, hundreds of thousands of documents and records for buildings, apartments, contracts and contacts, and syncing with systems customers still run alongside the platform.
- Agents (Backend): Improve the agent platform behind Hausverwalter.ai, which has 200+ tools and a built-in knowledge base. Customers build and train their own agents in a sandbox or use agents already built for them, for both text and voice. When an agent gets something wrong, find out why and fix it.

Everything is TypeScript, from the database schema to the frontend.
- Backend: Convex (database and serverless functions)
- Frontend: Next.js, React, Tailwind, shadcn/ui
The specific tech stack you bring is not important to the team, since AI will be writing 100% of the code.
Salary and Employment
- $1500 - $3000 per month before taxes, with room for growth and promotion

You Are
- Fluent in German and English
- A seasoned developer with more than a year of experience shipping production code
- A builder first: you ship and prefer getting a first iteration in front of customers over perfecting a PR
- Used to working independently and taking full responsibility for your area, also after it goes live
- Writing almost all of your code with AI
- Comfortable talking to customers and turning their input into product decisions
- Quick to learn new things and a generalist rather than a specialist
Nice to Have
- Solid backend and systems-design experience, including designing databases (tables, relationships, indexes) and optimizing query performance and cost
- Experience building production agents
- Comfort with queues and long-running workflows
