About the Role
Mindera is seeking an experienced Kotlin/Java Backend Developer to join our collaborative, Agile team. You will take ownership of technical development, design and implement robust, scalable backend solutions, and contribute across the entire software development lifecycle from requirements to deployment.
Main Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable backend solutions using Kotlin or Java
- Lead complex engineering projects and mentor junior developers
- Contribute to requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, and deployment phases
- Work in Identity teams on authentication, authorization, and SSO/OAuth implementations
- Collaborate with talented team members in an Agile environment
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of hands-on software development experience
- Strong backend engineering background with Kotlin or Java expertise
- Familiarity with Micronaut or similar frameworks (Spring Boot)
- Experience working in Identity teams and authentication/authorization systems
- Proven track record leading complex engineering projects
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
Nice to Have
- Experience with IAM platforms (Okta, Auth0, Keycloak, ForgeRock)
- Knowledge of identity/security standards (OpenID Connect, JWT, SAML, MFA)
- Cloud platform experience (Azure, AWS, GCP)
- DevOps practices and CI/CD pipeline exposure
