About the Role

Join our fully remote team as a Senior Backend Developer specializing in AI agents. We're building Hausverwalter.ai, an all-in-one platform for property management companies designed to automate everything a property manager does. Our platform has been agentic from day one, and we're looking for experienced developers who can tackle complex agent architecture challenges.

What You'll Work On

  • Inbox-Agents: Build autonomous agents triggered by ticket events, create templates for customer training, and solve escalation logic and process adherence challenges.
  • Harness Engineering: Design system prompts and skills for 100+ agent tools to understand property management workflows naturally.
  • Knowledge Base Integration: Enhance AI learning capabilities, improve knowledge base search through better tools and prompts, and optimize RAG search strategies.
  • Voice-Agents: Develop phone-based agents using LiveKit that handle calls with the same sophistication as text agents.
  • LLM Infrastructure: Select optimal models, implement caching and streaming, manage provider failover, optimize context, track usage, reduce costs, and run evaluations.

Tech Stack

Everything is TypeScript. Backend: Convex (Database & serverless functions). Frontend: Next.js, React, Tailwind, shadcn/ui. You'll work with Vercel AI SDK and Convex Agent Component.
