Vos missions

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented, analytical, and quality-focused Test Engineer to design, execute, and improve testing processes that ensure software products meet functional, technical, and quality standards. You will work closely with development and product teams throughout the software development lifecycle, leveraging strong problem-solving skills and hands-on testing experience.

Main Responsibilities

  • Design and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scenarios across multiple testing types (functional, regression, integration, system, usability, exploratory, and performance).
  • Analyze requirements, user stories, and technical specifications to identify testing needs and develop effective testing strategies.
  • Execute manual and automated tests to validate software functionality and reliability; develop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks when applicable.
  • Identify, reproduce, document, and track software defects with detailed reports including reproduction steps, expected results, actual results, and supporting evidence.
  • Perform API, database, cross-browser, cross-platform, and device testing as required; participate in release testing and deployment validation activities.
  • Collaborate with developers, product managers, designers, and stakeholders to investigate and resolve issues; monitor test results and communicate quality risks and recommendations.

Required Skills

  • Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, quality assurance principles, and Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Hands-on experience creating and executing manual test cases; knowledge of automated testing concepts and frameworks.
  • Familiarity with bug tracking and test management tools (Jira, TestRail, Azure DevOps) and API testing tools (Postman).
  • Basic to intermediate SQL and database testing knowledge; ability to analyze requirements and translate them into effective testing strategies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Key Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Test Engineer, QA Engineer, Software Tester, or similar role with hands-on software testing and defect management.
  • Experience creating and maintaining test cases, test plans, and testing documentation for web, mobile, desktop, API, or other software applications.
  • Experience performing functional and regression testing; familiarity with automated testing tools and defect tracking platforms.
  • Understanding of software development and release processes; ability to manage multiple testing activities while meeting deadlines.
  • Reliable internet connection and suitable remote work setup; English proficiency required for technical documentation and English-speaking team collaboration.
