The Role

As a Tour Guide (Chief Experience Officer or CEO), you will be more than a logistics coordinator—you will be the creator of unique, unforgettable travel experiences. You will lead small groups through Morocco, managing all aspects of their journey while maintaining the highest standards of customer service and traveller satisfaction.

Main Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service and ensure traveller satisfaction throughout each tour
• Provide leadership and manage group dynamics while being responsible for traveller well-being
• Act as day-to-day guide, interpreter, and group manager, handling traveller issues and concerns
• Maintain and manage the travel itinerary, making reservations for accommodation, transportation, and activities
• Manage daily expenditure accounts, retain receipts, and keep expenses within budget
• Maintain detailed knowledge of local culture, attractions, restaurants, transport, and current affairs
• Train new leaders and provide ongoing support to regional offices as needed

Required Qualifications

• Valid Guiding License and First Aid/CPR Certification (mandatory at contract start)
• Fluent English (all tours operated in English) and strong regional language skills (Arabic/French for Morocco)
• Proven leadership experience with excellent communication skills in diverse contexts
• Previous international experience: living, travelling, studying, or working abroad is essential
• Computer literacy: proficiency with Internet, Email, Microsoft Word, and Excel
• Basic accounting/budgeting background or personal budget management experience
• Physical fitness and high energy level to handle long, demanding days in varied conditions
• Resourcefulness and problem-solving ability to remain calm under unpredictable circumstances
• Commitment to sustainable and culturally responsible tourism
• Valid passport and ability to maintain current vaccinations
