About the Role
As Production Manager at Adient's Tiflet facility, you will supervise salaried personnel and direct manufacturing operations within your area of responsibility. This is a hands-on leadership position overseeing the complete production cycle from raw materials through assembly and delivery.
Main Responsibilities
- Supervise production and assembly operations, ensuring adherence to schedules and efficient material flow
- Maintain safety standards and conduct area inspections to ensure a safe, harmonious work environment
- Train, evaluate, and coach subordinate personnel to support career growth and meet staffing requirements
- Monitor manufacturing costs with emphasis on labor variances and implement cost reduction programs
- Coordinate with service departments to resolve production issues and optimize machinery and staff utilization
- Develop and implement programs to reduce scrap, absenteeism, and ensure compliance with safety and housekeeping standards
Key Requirements
- Proven experience in manufacturing operations management and team supervision
- Strong knowledge of production scheduling, material flow control, and inventory management
- Demonstrated commitment to safety standards and workplace compliance
- Excellent communication and coaching skills for personnel development
- Ability to analyze costs and implement efficiency improvements
Work Environment
This position is based at Adient's Tiflet facility in Morocco and requires on-site presence. You will work closely with the Plant Manager and cross-functional service departments to optimize production performance and profitability.
