About the Role

TransPerfect Connect is seeking independent contractors to provide French-English customer support services for a premium global retail and e-commerce client. You will support customer interactions across phone and email channels, delivering a thoughtful, polished, and service-driven experience in a remote environment.

Main Responsibilities

  • Provide customer support through inbound phone and email interactions
  • Assist customers with product-related inquiries including fit, materials, fabric care, and general product knowledge
  • Support order placement, tracking, returns, and general account inquiries
  • Address customer concerns using a solution-oriented and professional approach
  • Deliver customer experience aligned with premium retail standards
  • Document interactions in designated systems as required

Work Structure

This is a remote, contract-based independent contractor opportunity. Client support is primarily needed Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM Turkey Time. Work volume may vary and is not guaranteed. Contractors may support up to full-time hours depending on business demand and individual availability.

Required Qualifications

  • Native or near-native fluency in French
  • Strong professional-level English communication skills (spoken and written)
  • Experience in customer service, call center support, or customer-facing roles
  • Comfortable managing both phone and written customer interactions
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and multitasking skills
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment

Technical Requirements

  • Reliable high-speed internet connection
  • Quiet, private workspace suitable for voice interactions
  • Laptop provided by TransPerfect

Additional Information

Retail or e-commerce experience is preferred. Compensation is competitive and based on experience, market alignment, and project requirements. Pre-employment background check is required. This is an independent contractor relationship; contractors are not employees of TransPerfect Connect.
